• “Yoga & Life Management- “ Seminar arranged on 2nd August by Swami Dhyan Alok of Genius Temple.
• Induction Programme- As the first year students will be coming from 16th Aug.2011. We have made a 10 days programme from 16th Aug. to 29th August . (List attached).
• Wipro Mission 10x- Faculty Training on 19&20th August 2011.
• Employability Enhancement Training- Arranged  Employability Enhancement Training on 25 & 26th August 2011.It was scheduled for final year students. The training was given by “My Mentor”.
• NEEV- Foundation of an Engineer- Arranged a Programme “NEEV- Foundation of an Engineer” on 24.08.2011 for first year students  through CH Edgemakers.
• IBM DB2 training- Executed IBM DB2 training for final year students of CS/IT branch. The training was conducted by Trainer of IBM on 25-26-27th Aug 2011.
• Programme for teachers day celebration- (5th September 2011) in which different programmes were conducted in respective Dept.
• Workshop on PHP- for final year students.(CS / IT) by parkhya solutions on 7th  september. 2011
• Seminar on “The Art of Living”-Arranged a seminar on topic “Stuti” given by “The Art of Living” for 1st year & 3rd year students on 9th September 2011
• Lecture on “Importance of SDP Cell”-Taken an Introductory Lecture In MBA Dept.(Requested by Dr.Desai) addressing first year students about Importance of SDP cell and its different activities done for students.
• Psychometric Test for leaning ability analysis-conducted for faculties on 20th September 2011.
• Seminar on “Wireless Communication & Security Issues”-A seminar was arranged  on “Wireless Communication & Security Issues” for final Year CS/IT students on 16th September 2011. The resource person was Dr.Tokekar from IET(DAVV) Indore.
• Seminar on “Entrepreneurial Leadership”- On 27.09.2011, a seminar “Entrepreneurial Leadership” was arranged. The resource persons were from American Friendship Foundation –USA. They have designed a one year certificate programme working with real leaders & entrepreneurers. Selected students will be sent to USA for entrepreneurship training, here the students will learn International & cross-cultural living experience. Also they will get a Professional certificate, a corporate letter of recommendation. The seminar was delivered by Mr.Jon Sween(Director-Leadership Development),Mr.Don Kiehl(Managing Director-Sima International) 
• Seminar from 92.7 BIGFM- On 30.09.2011 a seminar from 92.7 BIGFM was arranged for the third & final year students on topic :Information about civil services and Guidance for Campus recruitment. BIGFM is a part of Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd. They have 45 stations all over india .This activity will go live on air with 92.7 BIGFM, where in bytes our students,faculties and director will be on air.  
• ”Navratri –Dandiya Rass”- On 5th October 2011”Navratri –Dandiya Rass” was organized, faculty members, students enjoyed the dandiya. On this occasion we announce the prizes for The Best Costume- (Male & Female students) & The Best costume (Male & Female Faculty / Staff) also from BIGFM RJ Meetu was here for Navratri Programme.
• PurpleLeap Training(Orientation) - From 10th October 2011 , PurpleLeap has started its training pogramme, it will continue upto 22nd October 2011. The Necessary arrangements were done according to their requirements.
• Industrial Visit- An Industry Visit was arranged to Gajra gears(Dewas) for Mechanical branch final year students on 14.10.2011.
• Worshop “Online career search community portal”- given JIDRAC Co., basic aim was to guide students to provide smarter ways of finding career opportunities. Records the video resumes of the students , upload them , proceed the video profiles to thousands of companies. The worshop was scheduled on 15.10.11.
• A Seminar on “Awareness on Foreign Education”- is organized for III year students. The Programme was delivered by “Globalizers” on 4th November 2011.
• Talent hunt & DJ Party- was arranged in MIT campus by Pamas Entertainment (Mumbai) The Prog started at 9:30 am with Talent Hunt of different students from Ist year to final  year.In which students participated for singing, Dance, Mimicry  etc. The stage was decorated with LED display and flex posters. The television anchor Ms.Cindrella  also came and anchored the show perfectly .After the Talent Hunt, DJ party was there. Also the hero of Film “Be Carefull” Mr.Zaid visited the campus and was within the campus for 2 hrs. with the students. The news came in following news papers- Pupils Samachar, Naidunia, Dainik Bhaskar, Free press, Swadesh, Prabhat kiran, Dabang Dunia.
• Chancellors Scholarship Award- Four students of MIT got Chancellors Scholarship Award for IV year of the course. For this academic session the amount for scholarship was raised to Rs.20,000/- . The Scholarships are distributed initially to 195 meritorious students by Governor of Madhya Pradesh & Chancellor of RGPV. Students we re sent to Bhopal for Award.
• Project Mania- SSI is conducting a project competition “Project Mania” for B.E Final year students of CS/IT Branch. These projects will be evaluated by the Industry experts. The students having best projects will be absorbed directly in the companies. The registration is open from 7th November 2011. The competition will be in the January first week. Had a meeting with the marketing manager of SSI. Spoken to the HOD of Computer Science & Information Technology. Information has given to the students.
• Beti Bachao Abhiyan”-This Project has started by Madhya Pradesh Government for stopping  Female Foeticide. To create National awareness for girl child. Invitation was given to an Event company “Angel creations” , they are shooting a video for “Beti Bachao Abhiyan”. The video was shooted in our campus. Also 15 students from I st Year participated in dance. 

The Apna Prayas NGO & Angel Creations is going to produce a Song with the theme of Save Girl Child & Women Empowerment, it's visualization has completed at so many places of Indore City, Malwa Institute of Technology is one of them. we wanted to show Girls in the field of engineering. we have taken so many shoots in College Campus working in Labs, Library, Classrooms etc with the Students of MIT. This Video will be promoted in Media.

• Cricket Tournament- As a part of Marketing & vision 2020 we did interschool tennis ball cricket tournament from 26.12.11 to 31.12.11. In which 25 schools participated. Near about 250 students visited our campus, this will be beneficial for our next year admissions.The names are as under:

The Winner team was NDPS School was awarded by Prize of Rs.11,000/- and the runner up team was Gurunanak School was awarded by Rs.7,000/-.
Apart from this every team member was given a T-shirt & a cap on which Malwa Institute was printed. The main co-ordinator for this sports tournament was our sports officer Mr.Sanjeev Sharma.

Vision 2020 – A social connect Programme
Malwa Institute of Technology, Indore is enthralled to march ahead with an objective to ignite young minds. We MITians have taken the initiative to torch the path to the young generation to be the future technocrats, imbibe the importance of quality education & technology.To motivate the students different events are being organized with fabulous prizes worth Rs.11,000/-, Rs.7000/-, Rs.5000/- and many more exciting prizes for each event.The events are – science quiz, Extempore, & T20 cricket tournament.
Vision 2020 launched by Malwa is an attempt of connecting social bonds among academic fraternity to provide the macroscopic picture of globalized world to the students so that they can evaluate the competition and threats of the future to combat it head on !
