Education is critical in developing countries like India. Not only does education have a fundamental role to play in personal and social development, it is a means to alleviate poverty and engineer social change. While it isn't a magic pill to solving the problems of the world, it is a ladder that can be used to climb out of poverty, exclusion, ignorance, oppression and war.
The children and youth of our times, who will take over from today's adults, need to be equipped with knowledge to usher in a better future. It is from this ethos, that the Malwa Insitute of Technology has adopted the motto: Building generations of nation builders.
